On June 1, 2012, at the NSC Olimpiyskiy in Moscow, the 10th anniversary award of Muz-TV was held. LC provided technical support for 3D mapping to the central elements of the scenery during more than a three-hour show. The projection of video content onto two arches, 33 meters long and 15 meters high each, was carried out using our software equipment and 16 projectors.
The presence of a large number of cameras used to conduct the live broadcast of the ceremony complicated the task and required the most accurate calculation of the layout of the projectors. We managed to make the projectors not visible in the frame, but at the same time they are in the most favorable position in terms of uniformity and brightness of the picture.
The uniqueness of this project is that mapping was performed on dynamic objects. The content was projected onto the sliding elements of the arches in the process of their movement. The extension took place in 7 directions (5 shifts and 2 rotations).
